SHS seniors and parents: senior packets went home Wednesday, Oct. 16, with information about ordering caps and gown and other senior swag from Herff Jones. A representative from the company will be on hand at the school to take these orders tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Senior portraits will be taken with Shayne Dowling Sept. 25 and 26 in the main gym. Shirts, ties, vests will be provided for the guys and shawls for the girls. Everyone needs to have their photo taken for the yearbook. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Spaulding. Students will bring home order forms for Dowling Family Photos for those who want to purchase the photo.
Homecoming royalty will be crowned Friday night when the Lions host the Brownstown Braves. The event will be held shortly before 7 p.m., prior to kick off. Candidates this year are: seniors: Hunter Trainor, Braxton Backus, Abby Maynard and Morgan Humphrey; juniors: Finn Kritzer, Rafe Wells, Brynan Bartron and Emma Lloyd; sophomores: Mason Abbot, Aiden Cole, Addison Howerton and Peyton Maynard; and freshmen: Ethan Cooper, Alex Blake, Rachel Little and Kaileigh Shields.

Baking Club had its first meeting of the year after school today. They baked burritos with guacamole and salsa on the side. It was good to get everyone back together and have new members.
