Important Information for sophomores interested in Prosser:
The Prosser Online Intent to Enroll Form will be live, on their website, from 12/18/24-2/28/25 at 8 a.m. The selection process is not based on a first served basis. Applications will be reviewed by the Prosser committee this Spring. There will be an informational meeting for students on January 8th, during homeroom, and for parents on January 9, from 6-6:30 p.m. It’s important to note that the intent to enroll process is online only, and students must complete the form once it has been started. Progress cannot be saved and returned to later. The Prosser Career Center will have an open house for interested students and parents on January 16 at 5:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to attend the informational meeting before completing the form. For questions, please contact the SHS Guidance Office: Mrs. Pitcock, SHS Counselor, Grades 9 & 10.

Senior Keegan Pate is the winner of Mr. Heavin’s stock market competition.
On August 16, economics students were given 10,000 pretend dollars to invest in the stock market. When the contest ended on December 6, Keegan’s account had grown to $12,421, an increase of $2,421.
Of Keegan’s six stocks, two were key in helping him win: Amazon and Tesla. His 10 shares of Amazon rose over 28%, while his 11 shares of Tesla rose an astounding 76.33%.
